In college I began my quest pursing all that was health and medicine. I wanted to help people and naively believed the only way to touch people’s lives was to be a doctor. I was brought to the world of marketing and communications through my position at Wellness USF. Here marketing and communications was seen through the scope of health promotions. I developed my fascination and passion for marketing and ultimately, branding and campaign creation through my position as the marketing assistant and social media coordinator for the marketing specialist at Wellness USF. I begun this position with the desire to learn and grow as a professional in a different platform of health and wellness and came out with a clear vision of the type of work I want to help create.
I am captivated by the depth and power a strong brand and campaign carry; how through research and creative collaboration projects can be created that can enact a unique and precise experience within an individual. How these experiences can be catalyst to actual behaviors and how those behaviors can actually be steps to help individuals make positive life changes. The most resonating aspect of this work is to have the privilege to do a job that calls for the delicate and precise understanding a group of individuals. Looking at people beyond the common demographics and understanding their psychographics, who they are, who they aspire to be, what fuels them and inspires them— is the core of what I love and want to do.
Passion for people, the fuel that creativity brings and the desire to lead a life of innovation and collaboration is why branding and the world around it has completely enchanted me.
